Kooringa Close is a unique Retirement Village in leafy, rustic Eltham catering for the specific needs of an ‘over 55’s community’, whilst embracing independent living and privacy as required. The Kooringa Close residents can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of their lakeside surrounds and manicured gardens, knowing that their safety, security, lifestyle and well-being are of paramount importance to the Resident Managers.

Of the 46 Strata titled Units at Kooringa Close, 29 offer two B/R accommodation and 17 are one B/R Units. Some have lake views, some have their own rear gardens with sunset views from the front bedroom and living areas, and others are nestled in a rustic setting with a balcony overlooking the lake and gardens. You can hear the musical sounds of native birds resonating through the leafy trees in the gardens. It is hard to believe that, in this private paradise, the Eltham Village shopping Centre, the train station and an abundance of medical services and health practitioners are only a short, easy walk away from the Village. Eltham is also well equipped with Churches of many denominations and a variety of service and community organisations.

Residents of Kooringa Close are welcome to entertain family and friends within their own Units, or they can make use of the comfortable Residents’ Lounge, which can also be booked for Private Functions.
The Residents’ Lounge is also used for social functions within the Village, such as fortnightly dinners, luncheons, meetings, cards, Bingo, exercise classes, fashion shows, or viewing of movies or programs of interest on the large flat screen TV.

Residents are also welcome to meet informally in the Residents’ Lounge to enjoy a friendly chat over a cup of tea, or browse through the books in the library in a comfortable, homely, air-conditioned environment. These library books are also available for borrowing.

These are set by Unit owners usually in consultation with the Village Managers.

Asking prices vary depending on:
• the size of the Unit (i.e. 1 or 2 B/R)
• carport, garage or car parking space
• condition of the Unit (i.e. recent painting/refurbishment)
• extent of any renovation
• quality of fittings (i.e. floor coverings, window coverings, light fittings, etc)
• aspect of the Unit (i.e. N/S facing, balcony, garden, lake view,etc)

One Bedroom – indicative price $300,000 - $320,000
Two Bedroom – indicative price $400,000 - $430,000

Buyer must also enter into separate contract with retirement village.
